Turned on Netflix this weekend and the first thing that popped up at “#1 in Movies Today” was Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt.

I’m am surprised that I never heard or seen any adverts for this before this what so ever. But even before the trailer or preview popped up, the static splash convinced me to just hit play.

And I’m glad I did. This comedic, live action Anime-like, fast paced (mostly) semi – thriller movie has just about every low rent hook crammed in, yet keeps the plot twist and turns coming one after another.

Sure its not cinematic gold by no means, but it really did keep me glued. At every new scene you never knew who was going to be guest starring in crazy bit parts.

The fast paced plot does get into a few dips that slow things down momentarily, but mostly to keep your eyes pointed in the right direction, then its back to its over the top Anime style action.

Go take a watch. There is probably something about Bullet Train that will keep you there. I’m sure this will get low score from critics, but actual viewers already love it.
