A Week in Solstice

I was in ESO a lot more than usual this week. I had a bit of vacation time to use and it was too damn hot outside.

Spent the week on my Templar running through the new Solstice content, the newest zone in the new “Season Pass” plus this week was also the Zeal of Zenithar event.

The event had extra boxes for finishing certain endeavors. Easy ones like finding a treasure chest or antiquity, or even just gain a level/point.

Doing this event led me to actually giving scrying and excavating a real shot. Something I have barely ever done.

You get these leads for buried treasure in a zone that you go out look for then dig up. And you get items, gold, better leads…

Spent a good hunk of time with this.

Even on such a small place as this half of the island of Solstice, there are still a ton of side quests.

One in particular zig zags you back and forth across the entire zone.. but I didn’t even know it was a quest. There were almost unrelated little quests that funneled you into a final bigger one.

The more I play, the more things I find to do. Today my companion Bastion got a quest. I didn’t even know they got quests.

Fun little run.

But that quest then led me to look at Mage daily quests. Something people probably have been doing for ever, but another thing I never bothered with.

So I basically was just trying up loose ends before taking off on the Cadwell’s Silver quest run which is basically just going back and doing all the original zones.

I probably did all of those zones on other toons before,, but if I want it off my quest log, I gotta do it all on one toon. Looks like I’ll be loading up on skyshards and lore books.
