Doctor Who Disney season 2 finally got here amid swirling rumors of cancellation, hate mongering and general discourse about the whole franchise.
It seems to be fashionable these days to hate everything. But to be fair, there is some bad stuff being put out across the board.

But I can say that I still am loving the Disney Doctor Who in this second season premier I dont get the hate that is out there.

Are these the best Who stories ever written? No. Well.. some maybe? Here and there.
But I can tell you that 15, Ncuti version, is the most “fun” Doctor.

Maybe the fun factor is why people are not getting down with Disney Doc. Who went from “hardcore” scifi, dangerous over arcing seriousness.. to fun. (ok that was a bit dramatic)
But fun with a backbone of seriousness.

Previous Doctors all seemed to try and channel past Doctors in some odd way, and it always felt off and distractive. But 15, so far, is like his own thing. A mention or two of other versions is all that I need.

But, it does appear that The Doctor will be going away for a while. Recent interviews are prepping the fans for a hiatus after this season. So I would imagine this will be the end of Ncuti’s version. And that is too bad.
But if this season is as good as what some insiders have been saying, maybe we can get more 15.

Go watch Disney Doctor Who,, it is worth the watch, and season 2 is off to a good start.
