If you have Netflix you probably have seen the splash add for “The Residence” pop up a couple of times. And like me, you probably skipped right past it.

But let me put this right out in front. Don’t miss out on this one, and get it watched before you get things spoiled.

The Residence is a made for Netflix series 2025. Starring Uzo Aduba, Giancarlo Esposito, Susan Kelechi Watson and Randal Park.

The show is really akin to the Knives Out series. I actually never looked into anything about this show what so ever, so who knows, maybe it is related somehow…

A crime happens, a detective comes in, various character plotlines ensue, comical moments, and some heavy, straight on detectiving and investigating going on.

I was sucked into this show so fast. Its got a hook, the characters are fantastic, the story comes at you from every direction, all while giving you clue after clue after clue of the mystery.

It has been a long time since I binge watched a season of any series in one sitting, (Ok,, two sittings) but damn.. I couldn’t stop.

The mild tropes and quirks along with a very satisfying ending, makes this one of the most enjoyable and fun shows I have seen in quite a while.

Do not wait on The Residency. It is great!
