It is now one day before (at time of writing) the drop of the new Warcraft expansion,,The War Within. And as of yesterday, I still did not know what spec, or even class that I would be running.

I pretty much did not play for a whole year. Sure I did the main quests of Dragonflight, and what ever that underground thing was, but that was it. None of the Emerald Dream.

But I of course came back for the pre patch stuff, and wow, did stuff change. I don’t think I have ever been hyped as much to play WoW again. Everything feels “new” and thought out. The classes all are fantastic.
And that’s the problem. What to play.

Weeks ago, When I was deciding, I figured I would do the time running and start fresh. I got a brand new DK, Priest, Mage, Monk. And everything was great! Then the catching Radiant Echoes event happened, and I ending up leveling and gearing every toon that I had.

Now add Shaman and Druid to the list of things I want to main.

Back and forth through each class. Echoes, Dungeons, Raids… each classes specs,,. I finally narrowed down.Coming into this last weekend I was down to Shadow Priest, Frost Mage, and still split between Demon and Destro Lock.

By Saturday I was 99.9% sure I was going full on Mage again. It has been a while since the old original main had seen the dance floor.

So I then thought, Ok, after leveling, I always end up moving to a healer. And this expansion, I want to start running Mythics. So I pulled out the Hpal and made sure he was up to snuff.
Back to run more dungeons and Raids,, and wow,, this feels great again.

So now I’m thinking maybe running Pally as main. That’s fine with me. Done that a couple of expansions.
But then, yesterday happened.

I was fishing through YouTubes, and seen a guy talking up Mistweaver. And I have a brandly new TimeRunner Monk just sitting there. Lets just go see what changed since the last time I was Monk healer.

I jump behind the wheel and get talents set and Buttons moved back to where I kind of remember where they were, and set out for some heroics.

I haven’t fist weaved in years, but it felt like I never left. And now that they are leaning full into the Fistweave,,, its God damn fun!

A bit of talent switching, more button moving and we are moving into the raids. Ho Lee Chit. I can’t believe how good this Mistweaver feels in a raid. I used to HATE MW in raid form.

More and more raids, Echoes and upgrades, and Blam! I have a 490 (low I know) Timeran Mistweaver ready to take center stage.

I never Mained a Monk in any expansion, and the last time I mained a Healer right out of the gate was Pandaria and the Drood.

But yea,, this Monk feels like a whole bunch of classes good points rolled into one.
Its like they took the Druid Hots, a Shaman’s Chain Heal, the Disc Priest Pennace, Pallys Consecration, and gave them to a Windwalker.

With one day to go, I found my Main.
