Ahsoka start

Oh yea. I couldn’t wait for the Ahsoka series to start. They even dropped episodes 1-2 the same day. Which set the stage for the storyline, and got everyone “mostly” up to speed. Even us regulars needed a brief orientation. After all its been years since Rebels. Plus I think that even totaly new viewers, which there probably is a lot of, got enough info to follow along just fine.

But what happened with episode 3 last night? its like they had a complete change in writers, in style, in feel.

1 and 2 left me thinking, yea,, this is gonna be great! We have a pretty decent story with direction, and the main characters fit just where they should be.
But 3 for the most part felt like a teenaged middle school fanboy wrote it with out seeing the first two.

Now that doesnt mean I am not enjoying Ahsoka. Its overall story arc has promise and likely to start filling/fixing some of the sequel holes, and I’m looking foreward to what they have set up already.

But c’mon lets get some original scripting here and not keep copying (almost word for word) what previous editions already did.
We have so few episodes to work with that 37 minute episodes of scenes we already seen just ain’t gonna cut it for long.

Heres to hoping next week we are back in track.
