The Mandalorian Season 3 wrap…

As I previously mentioned, The Mandalorian season 3 was its best season yet.
Action, plots moving foreward (most of them any way) characters evolving. This season had pretty much everything.
And the season finale, “The Return” followed suit.

Usually I tend not to have much for spoilers, but today there will be. So beware.

At this point in the season things have mostly narrowed down to the Bo Katan story and the Moff Guidion story. Both coming together in a clash.
This fight alone had opened many more doors of story, backstory and foreshadowed stories, all while keeping the right things in focus.

One of the oddities, so to say, of this season, was Grogu and Djarin actually being part of that focus. But, while yes they did have much much more action in this episode than the rest of the season combined, I think some will be let down a bit as some of the things with Grogu most people were expecting to happen, didnt.

But thats not saying that Grogu didnt have a major story development. In fact, most all of the characters through out the season get some thing to build on.

And that point alone is one more great thing about this season. The ending sure felt like it was a Series finale, not just a season finale. It could end right here and I think everything would be just fine.
But the ending did leave a few gaps in things they started and introduced. It also touched off bits that could be taken in any direction for Djarin and Grogu, Bo Katan, the Mandalorians as a whole, The Imperials, Jedis….

There is so much more than could and should happen now.
While I was plenty ready to move on from this era of Star Wars and start building new post Skywalker stories.. I think I could now stick around this timeframe a bit longer.
