Tales of the Jedi

Wow, Star Wars really has got its stuff together lately. Between Kenobi, Andor, and now Tales of the Jedi, the galaxy is really being fleshed out more than any other franchise out there. (Disney+ is the place to go)

Tales is not just more of “Star Wars Visions” from last year. Far from it. Animated yes, but each of the six episodes deals with a specific part of Star Wars lore and cannon that we either wanted, or needed more attention.

Each episode adds or fills in the gaps of scenes that happened off screen from the main action to give deeper insight to what, why or how things tie some very important characters and their actions to the main Star Wars story.

We learn more about the likes of Dooku, Windu, Qui-Gon, Asoka, (and more), in these six short episodes than we do in Twelve full on movies.

If you are any kind of Star Wars fan at all, Tales of the Jedi is without a doubt a must see. But I will give one disclaimer right here. Episode one is NOT how the rest of the series plays out. Just watch it and get to episode two and the rest.

I will still give this short series a 5/5, but I wish there was an entire series or movie that covered Dooku in this timeframe.
