Well, now that Crunchyroll merged with or bought Funimation (the other Official source of Anime and other stuff)… or maybe Funimation did the buying… or was it Sony… I don’t know now. I’m not exactly sure what its called,, but my app still says Crunchyroll. Anyway…

I didn’t know until just recently, ok maybe I did hear this before,, but never looked, that with your subscription you also get their Manga collection.

So I of course stopped what I was doing and downloaded the app. You need the separate Crunchyroll Manga app.

Quite a bit of content there. Not everything you would ever want.. but enough to keep you busy for the next year or five.

Various ways to sort and search, but I’ll admit it’s a pretty rough time trying to navigate. This thing really needs about 100 updates. But once you get the idea of how it works (or you may never figure it out) you can get onto reading.

You kinda of read them online,, I guess is the way I’d call it. Once your in a book, they mostly work as any other comic book app you probably have used. The Zooms and Double clicks all work.. but remember this is Manga so pages turn right to left.

It’s definitely not the greatest app for sure.. but if you are into the Anime or Manga.. go grab the Crunchyroll and its Crunchyroll Manga app and get your fill.
