Well, I’m not sure what to make of the first Lower Decks episode, Second Contact.

Its like American Dad rolled up with some Futurama, a hint of Courage the Cowardly Dog, and all kinds of Star trek inside jokes.

It immediately seemed to be something drunk Trek fans would slap together at a party. But I forced my self to watch it.

Somewhere around the last 5 minutes it took a slight turn. Very slight. But enough of “something” to make me give it another episode. And if the previews for next week were not off the mark, it may be… ok.

I usually wouldnt give a show just one episode and quit,, but the first 15 minutes nearly broke that streak, lets hope for the best from here on out.
